According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, AbdolJavad Kamali, at a joint meeting with the General Director of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Hormozgan Province, at the Office of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Management of Qeshm Free Zone Organization stated: Given the widespread tourism dimension, interacting with tourism centers between free zones and the mainland will play a major role in the development of this industry.
He referred to the Qeshm Free Zone Organization's activities over the recent few years to promote the training and empowerment of activists in this field and added: holding training courses, issuing identification cards for artisan craftsmen, introducing tourism activists for facilities, developing home-based businesses, and increasing job creation at the island, are a major part of these actions in the three axes, cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism.
Member of the Board of Directors and Deputy of Cultural, Social and Tourism of Qeshm's Free Zone Organization also announced his readiness to conclude a memorandum of cooperation with the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of Hormozgan Province, and said: We are ready to provide these trainings, in triple domains, to all enthusiasts and activists of the province's tourism sector.
He continued: In the field of cultural heritage, we can define common actions, and, using the potential capacities of each other, to preserve and restore the spiritual and cultural resources of the province.
According to Kamali, due to the good plans that the Qeshm Free Zone Organization has had to promote tourism services, this deputy is ready to hold various training classes in three sections, personnel, local community, and economic activists in the province's tourism industry.
